Haikugnu

Psychology reminds us that widening the gap between stimulus and response is healthy. In attempts to tame amygdalae run amok, Haikugnu will pause to articulate real-time thoughts in Haiku form.

What does a gnu sound like, you ask? It sounds just like I do! (especially when I brain.)

A herd of gnus is called an implausibility. The term reflects how these animals are "an improbable combination of body parts."

  • Gnus look like thin, muscular cows with large, sloping backs, curved horns, striped bodies, manes, and bushy beards. I look like Liza Minelli and Ricki Lake had a baby. Not exactly a masterpiece.

  • People say they look "unfortunate," and have "chaotic energy." Both have been used to describe me on more than zero occasions. In fact, I was once called "not unreasonably short," and I don't think that's a compliment.

  • Gnus are territorial and constantly on the search for food. #preach
  • Gnus are very protective. They will stamp their feet, yell, and chase enemies. Same.

why gnu?

why Now?

Well, because I've often felt like an alien species, but after further consideration, I might simply be a gnu.

Hear me out...

why Not?

Life is quite absurd
